We have a really nice park in our neighborhood that serves many purposes for all to enjoy. It’s a wonderful place for a picnic, you can play ball, walk your dog and there is a terrific jungle gym play area. But, our visit there provided evidence that not everyone feels they should take care of and respect the nice property. And it pointed directly to me!

My Golden Retriever, Phoenix, and I arrived at the park to do our usual few laps. He also recently has taken a huge interest in the jungle gym. But, this took a wicked turn today. My name is Mike but this quickly got out of control.

Mike Vogler

I have been told (many times) that I really need to write a book about my life. The past 40+ years have been an exciting ride, and these days I find myself with a great many passions. However, I feel that this website is a much more personal way with which to share my musings, stories, commentary, and (of course) my greatest love... my Golden Retriever, Phoenix.

  1. Hilarious! Needed a good, short break from studying.

  2. Lordy, he went kicking and screaming all the way to the policeman’s car. They had to put one of those hoods on him so he didn’t spit. That was so totally cool because he’s claustrophobic! I will bail him out later. Let him stew for a little while 🙂

  3. Phoenix! Shame on you! Turning in your own daddy.

    Just kidding, nice move! Lmao!

  4. HAHAHA!!!!! Dirty Mike 😉

  5. I always knew you had a dark side, Dirty Sanchez Mike.

  6. Good job, Phoenix. Tomorrow, let’s take care of the neighbor’s cat. I’ll show you how to pin that one on Dad, too.

  7. Hey Phoenix. I got released early on my Own Recognizance. Remember the movie The Shining little dog? Well, heeerrre’s,Daddy! Come to your Daddy doggie. I would like to chit chat with you my dear canine friend.

  10. Hahahahha! This is so awesome! I knew you were ghetto Dirty Mike! Lol!

  11. Lolo, using all your knowledge from work for dialogue, cute. Taggers are urban blight, but using it to tell a story is clever. Love the conversation bubbles on the pics, very scrapbooky
