In June of 1982 I arrived in Reno, Nevada as a snot-nosed kid with a whole laundry list of other juvenile discrepancies. My father had kicked me out of the duplex that he and I lived in. He informed me that I would be moving immediately to Reno to live with my aunt and uncle for a time to take a break. Little did I know at the time it was a one-way ticket that changed my life.
Six years later I was hired by the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office here in Reno and now today, August 15th 2018 I have officially retired with over 30 years of service to the department.
Many questions will be asked: will I get another Golden Retriever, will I blog again, will I take my dream trip to Germany. I have none of those answers as of this writing.
What I can tell you is that I know this.
The sun will come up in the morning.
I hope this finds all of doing wonderfully after a very long absence of mine in the blogging world!
