Do you know someone in your community who makes such a big difference that you’ve always wanted to do something special for them but haven’t had the right thing in mind? Well, now might be the perfect time. So often people who positively impact the community do so behind the scenes, rarely having their efforts recognised, but this fantastic competition by the company Chums aims to shine a light on those community heroes that make our world a better place. However this competition has a little twist, the hero has to be a senior! This competition is a way to say a big thank you to the older generation that have given us so much.
In order to enter the competition, you have to nominate a senior located in the UK that you feel deserves to be rewarded for all they’ve contributed. Thankfully, entering the competition is extremely easy. All you have to do is write a 300 word nomination about why the senior you’re thinking of deserves to win. You also have to add in a photo of the person you’d like to nominate. The competition ends on the 27th of July and the winners will be announced on their blog page and also on their Facebook and Instagram. So now is the time to get writing!
