The short answer · Estimate
$1.3 million to $3 million
Karoline Leavitt’s own federal disclosures put her household’s cash and stocks at about $1.28 million to $2.8 million, reported in ranges [3]. Celebrity Net Worth puts her at $3 million [11]. Her pay as White House press secretary was $195,200 a year [6]. The forms leave out property values [3], so this is an estimate, not a filed total.
Confidence: medium. Two official filings show the same asset ranges [2][3], but they combine her assets with her spouse’s and any dependent children’s [3], they list three mortgages of “Over $1,000,000” each without the property values [3], and her income since leaving the White House is not yet reported. Wikipedia lists her term as ending on 27 August 2026 [1].

How we estimate Karoline Leavitt’s net worth
We estimate Karoline Leavitt’s net worth from her own financial disclosure forms first, then check the published estimates against them. The forms are official; the estimates are not.
| Source | What it says | Date |
|---|---|---|
| OGE Annual report (her filing) [3] | Household cash and stocks reported in ranges; the low ends add to $1,275,017 and the high ends to $2,800,000 (our sum). Three mortgages over $1,000,000 each. No property values | Signed 25 August 2026 |
| International Business Times UK [9] | $1.3 million to $2.8 million in reported assets, citing a ProPublica analysis (assets, not net worth). Says $6-7 million media figures are not supported by her disclosures | 13 August 2026 |
| Celebrity Net Worth [11] | Net worth $3 million | Updated 12 August 2026 |
| Distractify [12] | Around $6 million, unconfirmed | 28 January 2025 |
Our method
Start from the forms. Her OGE Annual report lists six U.S. Bank cash accounts and eleven stocks, each in a value band [3]. Adding the low ends gives $1,275,017; adding the high ends gives $2,800,000 [3]. Those totals are our arithmetic, not figures she filed. IBTimes reports a ProPublica reading of the same filing at $1.3 million to $2.8 million [9], which matches.
Whose money it is. The asset part of the OGE form combines the filer’s assets with her spouse’s and any dependent children’s [3]. So not all of that cash can be called hers alone.
What the forms leave out. The form does not ask for the value of a personal home, and it lists three loans of “Over $1,000,000” each, which the endnotes tie to investment properties [3]. The property values are not given, so we don’t subtract the mortgages from the cash as if the buildings were worth nothing.
How we set the range. The low end, $1.3 million, is the rounded low end of the filed bands [3]. The high end, $3 million, is Celebrity Net Worth’s August 2026 figure [11], just above the $2.8 million top of the bands [3]. We left out the $6 million figure [12] and the $6-7 million media reports, because IBTimes notes they are not supported by her disclosures [9].
Salary figure. Her pay is taken from the White House reports to Congress, which list $195,200 a year as of 1 July 2025 and 1 July 2026 [5][6].
We update this page when a new deal, sale or filing moves the range; the “updated” date changes only then. The same method is used for all our net worth estimates; read how we research.
Where Karoline Leavitt’s money comes from
Karoline Leavitt’s money comes from her White House salary, her consulting company KCL, LLC, a Republican National Committee salary and paid media and campaign work [2][6]. Her disclosures name the payers but not always the amounts [2].
| Income stream | What is reported | Source |
|---|---|---|
| White House salary | $195,200 a year as Assistant to the President and Press Secretary, in the reports as of 1 July 2025 and 1 July 2026. That is the top regular pay tier, the same figure as Chief of Staff Susan Wiles. She served from 20 January 2025 to August 2026 | [5][6][10][1] |
| KCL, LLC (her communications consulting company) | $165,000 business income in her New Entrant report (signed 19 May 2025). The Ayotte for Governor campaign paid KCL LLC $17,200 in five payments from September to November 2023. KCL is filed as inactive during her appointment | [2][14][3] |
| Republican National Committee salary | $35,000 in the New Entrant report (May 2025); $7,771 in the 2025 Annual report (signed 25 August 2026) | [2][3] |
| Media work (TV and radio) | Newsmax (TV contributor) and Howie Carr Radio Network (on-air talent), each listed as paying more than $5,000 in a year. The form does not ask for exact amounts | [2] |
| Campaign and PAC clients | MAGA Inc. (spokesperson), Donald J. Trump for President (national press secretary), the RNC, Ayotte For Governor, Lupoli Companies and Olympic Media, each listed as paying over $5,000 in a year. Amounts not disclosed | [2] |
| Earlier salaries (2021-2022) | U.S. House of Representatives salary of $70,000 for 2021 as a communications director; Leavitt Auto and Truck salary of $10,284 for 2022 up to the filing date | [7] |
| Interest on cash | Interest on six U.S. Bank accounts, filed in ranges from $201-$1,000 up to $2,501-$5,000 per account | [3] |
| Spouse’s real estate businesses (household, not hers) | Business income from Nautical Beach Resort, LLC, Riccio Enterprises, LLC and Nautical Motel, LLC. The form does not require spouse income amounts, so none are filed | [2][3] |
The largest single amount in the sources is the $195,200 government salary [6]. Before the White House, KCL’s $165,000 was the biggest figure she reported [2]. IBTimes notes that the same $195,200 is paid to several of the President’s closest advisers [10].
The payer list shows how a political spokesperson earns between jobs: a consulting company bills campaigns and companies, while TV and radio pay for appearances [2]. The form only says each payer paid over $5,000 [2], so the full total is unknown.
Karoline Leavitt’s three financial disclosures side by side
Karoline Leavitt’s filings show two small bank accounts in 2022 and, by 2025, six household cash accounts worth $1.2 million to $2.55 million plus a stock portfolio [7][3]. The values below are copied as filed, in ranges. Totals are our sums of the low and high ends. The OGE asset figures combine her, her spouse’s and any dependent children’s assets, as the form’s asset part states [2][3].
| Item | House candidate report (filed 16 May 2022; covers 1 Jan 2021 to 30 Apr 2022) | OGE New Entrant report (signed 19 May 2025) | OGE Annual report, year 2025 (signed 25 Aug 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bank and cash accounts | 2 accounts: American Express $1,001-$15,000; Bank of America $1,001-$15,000 [7] | 6 U.S. Bank accounts; total of ranges $1,215,006-$2,550,000 (largest $500,001-$1,000,000) [2] | Same 6 accounts and ranges; total $1,215,006-$2,550,000 [3] |
| Stocks | None listed [7] | 11 stocks; total of ranges $60,011-$250,000 (Tesla $50,001-$100,000) [2] | Same 11 stocks and ranges; total $60,011-$250,000 [3] |
| Earned income filed | U.S. House salary $70,000 (2021); Leavitt Auto and Truck $10,284 (2022 to filing) [7] | KCL, LLC business income $165,000; RNC salary $35,000 [2] | RNC salary $7,771 [3] |
| Government salary (separate official report) | n/a (House staff salary shown above) | $195,200 a year (report as of 1 July 2025) [5] | $195,200 a year (report as of 1 July 2026) [6] |
| Payers over $5,000 a year | Not listed [7] | Newsmax; Howie Carr Radio Network; Ayotte For Governor; MAGA Inc.; RNC; Donald J. Trump for President; Lupoli Companies; Olympic Media; KCL, LLC [2] | Not required in an annual report [3] |
| Liabilities | DCU car loan $10,000-$15,000 (July 2021); Chase credit card $10,000-$15,000 (April 2022) [7] | 3 investment or rental property mortgages, each over $1,000,000 [2] | Same 3 mortgages, each over $1,000,000 (Kennebunk Savings 2006; Enterprise Bank 2020; Newburyport Bank 2020) [3] |
| Spouse business income | None disclosed [7] | Nautical Beach Resort, LLC; Riccio Enterprises, LLC; Nautical Motel, LLC [2] | Same three LLCs [3] |
| Outside positions | Communications Director, U.S. House; employee, Leavitt Auto & Truck [7] | Owner, KCL, LLC (from December 2022) [2] | Owner, KCL, LLC (inactive until the end of her appointment) [3] |
The cash and stock ranges did not change between the May 2025 and August 2026 reports [2][3]. Between 2022 and 2025 the picture changed far more: from two accounts of up to $15,000 each and $20,000 to $30,000 of loan and card debt (our sum) [7] to over $1.2 million in household cash [2]. The 2025 forms include her spouse’s assets [3], so the change is not all her own earnings.
No OGE termination report for her was listed on the White House disclosures page as of 4 October 2026 [4].

| Spouse’s real estate businesses | Nautical Beach Resort, LLC; Riccio Enterprises, LLC; Nautical Motel, LLC. No values or amounts required | [3] |
What could change the number
Her next job would change the number most. Wikipedia lists her term as ending on 27 August 2026 and says Trump said she would stay on as an outside adviser [1]; no pay for that role or any new work has been reported.
A termination report would also help. It would show her final White House-era ranges and any new income, and none was listed on the disclosures page as of 4 October 2026 [4]. Her KCL, LLC company was filed as inactive only until the end of her appointment [3], so it could start billing again.
Her 2022 campaign’s debts belong to the campaign committee, not to her personally [8][13]. The campaign disclosed $326,370 in unpaid debts in January 2025 [1], the FEC shows $353,101.58 in debts owed at the end of the 2022 cycle [8], and the Washington Sun reported in April 2026 that over $326,000 was still owed with $0 cash on hand [13].
