The short answer · Estimate
$5 million to $8 million
Celebrity Net Worth puts Jenna Ortega’s net worth at $5 million [4], and most other published estimates repeat that figure [5][11][9]. The only separate estimate, $6 million to $8 million from InvestorMint in June 2026 [12], is a weak single source, so it sets the top of the range and nothing more. Her money comes from Netflix’s Wednesday, films such as Scream VI and Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, and brand deals with Neutrogena, Adidas and Dior [1]. No salary or brand fee of hers has been officially disclosed [5][4].
Confidence: low. Every estimate traces to Celebrity Net Worth or to an estimate site that names no real source [4][12], and no salary figure has been confirmed by Netflix, a studio or a trade report.

How we estimate Jenna Ortega’s net worth
Jenna Ortega’s net worth is estimated by setting the published figures side by side and tracing each one back to its origin. The table lists each source with its date; none of the figures is official.
| Source | What it says | Date |
|---|---|---|
| Celebrity Net Worth [4] | Net worth $5 million | Undated; read October 4, 2026 |
| InvestorMint [12] | Its own estimate of $6 million to $8 million; credits another estimate site, WealthInsightWatch | June 5, 2026 |
| Netflix Junkie [9] | $5 million, credited to Celebrity Net Worth | August 13, 2026 |
| Parade [5] | $5 million, credited to Celebrity Net Worth | March 28, 2025 |
| ClutchPoints [11] | $5 million (estimated), credited to Celebrity Net Worth | January 31, 2025 |
| Women’s Health [6] | About $3 million, credited to Celebrity Net Worth | March 3, 2023 |
| Bustle [7] | $3 million, credited to Celebrity Net Worth | December 25, 2022 |
Our method
One origin for most figures. Bustle, Women’s Health, ClutchPoints, Parade and Netflix Junkie all credit Celebrity Net Worth [7][6][11][5][9]. So the table holds only two separate estimates: Celebrity Net Worth’s, which was $3 million in December 2022 [7] and is $5 million now [4], and InvestorMint’s $6 million to $8 million [12]. InvestorMint offers no outside evidence beyond another estimate site [12]. It sets the top of the range only because it is the sole second figure, and it is a weak one.
A cross-check from reported pay. Reported Wednesday season 2 pay runs from $250,000 per episode [5][13] to about $1 million per episode, a figure Rolling Stone Brasil attributes to Bloomberg [8]. Season 2 has 8 episodes [2], so that is about $2 million to $8 million before tax and fees. That is a multiplication of reported rates, not a payment anyone confirmed. It is consistent with a $5 million to $8 million net worth, but it does not prove it.
Weak pay figures. The Scream and Scream VI fees come from a podcast, and Parade, which quotes them, tells readers to take them with a “grain of salt” [5]. For Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Netflix Junkie says $750,000 without naming a source [10], while Parade’s own guess is “at least a couple million” [5]. They are shown here as unconfirmed and are not added together.
What is left out. Higher figures circulate on pages with no author and no date, often copied onto unrelated sites; they are not used here. Her pay figures reach this page through outlets quoting Deadline and Cosmopolitan, so each one names the chain.
Costs. Every salary on this page is gross: before agent, manager and lawyer fees, and before tax. Box office grosses are the films’ revenue, not her pay.
We update this page when a new deal, sale or filing moves the range; the “updated” date changes only then. The same method is used for all our net worth estimates; read how we research.
Where Jenna Ortega’s money comes from
Jenna Ortega’s money comes from TV and film salaries, a producer role on Wednesday, brand ambassador deals and, earlier, sponsored social posts [1][2][7]. She started acting as a child in 2012 and led a Disney Channel series before Netflix [1].
| Income stream | What is reported | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Wednesday season 1 (Netflix, 2022) | About $30,000 per episode for 8 episodes, which Parade credits to Cosmopolitan citing Deadline; ARY News gives $240,000 in total, credited to “foreign tabloids”. Not confirmed by Netflix or Deadline | [5][13] |
| Wednesday season 2 and producer role | Reports disagree: up to $250,000 per episode, about $2 million for 8 episodes (Parade via Cosmopolitan; ARY News), or about $1 million per episode (Rolling Stone Brasil, citing Bloomberg). She is a producer from season 2; no producer fee or back-end terms are reported | [5][13][8][2][1] |
| Film salaries | Podcast figures quoted by Parade with a “grain of salt” warning: Scream $520,000, Scream VI $5 million, The Fallout $920,000. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice figures are weaker still (see the table below). None is confirmed | [5][10] |
| Disney Channel | Lead in Stuck in the Middle (2016-2018). The same podcast, via Parade, puts her pay at $280,000 over three seasons; unconfirmed | [1][5] |
| Brand deals | Neutrogena ambassador from 2020; Adidas and Dior ambassador from 2023; Dior global beauty ambassador in 2025; a Doritos Super Bowl LVIII ad in February 2024. No fees disclosed | [1][4] |
| Sponsored social posts | $78,869 per sponsored Instagram post at 31.9 million followers, an estimate Bustle credits to NetflixLife (December 2022). Bustle noted she had not posted sponsored content since Wednesday aired | [7] |
| Book | It’s All Love: Reflections for Your Heart & Soul (2021). No advance or sales figure reported | [1] |
Wednesday is the stream that moved her estimate. The Celebrity Net Worth figure that other outlets cite rose from $3 million in December 2022 [7] to $5 million by early 2025 [11][5]. In between, Netflix renewed the show in January 2023 with Ortega as a producer [2].
Season 1 alone could not explain the rise. At the reported $30,000 per episode, eight episodes come to $240,000 before fees [5][13]. Any of the reported season 2 rates is at least eight times that per episode [5][8].
Her brand deals are the biggest unknown. No fee for Neutrogena, Adidas, Dior or Doritos has been published [1], and that gap is the main reason the range is wide.
Jenna Ortega’s projects: film revenue vs her reported pay
Her films have grossed from $7,763,834 to $452,000,435 worldwide [19][17], but that is the films’ revenue, not her pay, and only three of the films in this table come with any reported fee [5][10]. This table puts each gross from Box Office Mojo next to the pay that has been reported and how strong that report is.
| Project (year) | Worldwide gross (film revenue, not her pay) | Budget | Reported pay to Ortega | Pay source and strength |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Scream (2022) | $137,743,924 [14] | $24,000,000 [14] | $520,000 [5] | Podcast figure quoted by Parade, March 28, 2025, with a “grain of salt” warning; unconfirmed |
| X (2022) | $14,745,049 [15] | Not shown [15] | Not reported | No figure |
| Scream VI (2023) | $166,577,232 [16] | $35,000,000 [16] | $5 million [5] | Same podcast via Parade; unconfirmed |
| Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024) | $452,000,435 [17] | Not shown [17] | $750,000 (Netflix Junkie) or “at least a couple million” (Parade’s estimate) [10][5] | Two weak sources disagree; Netflix Junkie names no source; unconfirmed |
| Death of a Unicorn (2025) | $16,496,703 [18] | Not shown [18] | Not reported | No figure |
| Hurry Up Tomorrow (2025) | $7,763,834 [19] | Not disclosed [19] | Not reported | No figure |
| Wednesday season 1 (Netflix, 2022) | Streaming, no box office; more than 1 billion viewing hours in its first month [2] | Not applicable | About $30,000 per episode, 8 episodes [5][13] | Parade citing Cosmopolitan citing Deadline |
| Wednesday season 2 (Netflix, 2025) | Streaming, no box office [2] | Not applicable | $250,000 per episode (Parade, ARY News) or about $1 million per episode (Rolling Stone Brasil, citing Bloomberg) [5][13][8] | Disputed; the $1 million figure is Rolling Stone Brasil citing Bloomberg |
The biggest gross on the list, Beetlejuice Beetlejuice at $452,000,435 [17], comes with the weakest pay figures. The highest single fee, $5 million for Scream VI, rests on a podcast [5]. X, Death of a Unicorn and Hurry Up Tomorrow have no reported fee in any cited source [15][18][19]. That is why published net worth estimates stay modest next to these grosses.
Wednesday shows the same gap. The show passed 1 billion viewing hours within a month of its November 23, 2022 premiere [2], yet the best-sourced season 1 pay is about $30,000 per episode [5].
Earnings timeline
Jenna Ortega’s earnings grew in three steps: child roles from 2012, a Disney Channel lead from 2016, and from 2022 Wednesday, horror films and global brand deals [1].
| Year | What happened |
|---|---|
| 2012 | Acting debut in the sitcom Rob [1]. |
| 2013 | Uncredited film debut in Iron Man 3 and a supporting role in Insidious: Chapter 2 [1]. |
| 2016 | Lead role as Harley Diaz in Stuck in the Middle, to 2018 [1]; reported pay $280,000 over three seasons (podcast via Parade, unconfirmed) [5]. |
| 2020 | Named a Neutrogena brand ambassador [1]. |
| 2022 | Scream and X are released [14][15]. Wednesday premieres on November 23 [2]. Year-end estimate cited from Celebrity Net Worth: $3 million [7]. |
| 2023 | Scream VI is released [16]. Becomes an Adidas and Dior ambassador [1]. Wednesday is renewed in January with Ortega as producer [2]. Leaves the Scream franchise in November, with no money figure reported [1]. |
| 2024 | Forbes 30 Under 30 [3]; Doritos Super Bowl LVIII ad [1]; Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is released [17]. |
| 2025 | Death of a Unicorn and Hurry Up Tomorrow are released [18][19]; named Dior global beauty ambassador [1]. Wednesday season 2 is released in August and September with Ortega as producer, and season 3 is renewed in July [2]. Cited estimate: $5 million [5]. |
| 2026 | Co-stars with Natalie Portman in The Gallerist [1]. Wednesday season 3 starts filming on February 23 [2]. Klara and the Sun, directed by Taika Waititi, is set for October [1]. |
What could change the number
A confirmed Wednesday fee would change this estimate more than anything else. Season 3 started filming on February 23, 2026 [2], and as a producer from season 2 [1] her share could include more than a per-episode fee. No such terms have been reported.
Disclosed brand fees would also move it. Dior named her a global beauty ambassador in 2025 [1], and no fee has been published for that deal or any other.
New films add to the record: The Gallerist with Natalie Portman, and Klara and the Sun, directed by Taika Waititi, set for October 2026 [1]. When Box Office Mojo lists their grosses, those will be revenue, not pay.
